Dr. Shawna Darou is a licensed and registered Naturopathic Doctor, who specializes in women’s health care and fertility. Since graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine Dr. Darou has been treating women in her Toronto clinic. She has developed several programs to help women improve their fertility and prepare for pregnancy including her Fertility Care program.
In today’s show, Shawna and I talk about the philosophy behind naturopathic medicine and how it can help women treat menstrual cycle and fertility related concerns naturally. We talk specifically about how naturopathic medicine can treat endometriosis and fibroids, as well as unexplained infertility, and other fertility related issues. Dr. Darou also shares how she uses acupuncture as an adjunct to medical fertility treatments like IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination) and IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), and how it can increase the effectiveness of these treatments by up to 65%.

Hello there!
Why do some of the episodes just stop playing around the end (I mean, like half an hour towards the end)? I’m really sorry I can’t finish them! There are so many important and useful information there and we can’t enjoy them to the end. I’ve tried on different devices and all, but it doesn’t work anywhere. Is it only me or there is really something going on?
